This class is available, through the Foundation, only to not-for-profit organizations (including church organizations). Interested parties are encouraged to complete an application as quickly as possible and return it to the Foundation or by Friday, January 27, 2012. 2011 Basic Parish/Faith Community Nursing Education ProgramThis program for nurses and baccalaureate nursing students will support continued growth in the knowledge, attitudes and skills central to the parish/faith community nurse role. Participants will learn about the various functions of the parish/faith community nurse. The content is the basic parish nurse curriculum of the the International Parish Nurse Resource Center. The first half of the program (Part 1) is required and is in an online format to be completed prior to the retreat portion of the program.
