and juvenile delinquency. The Strengthening
Families Program (SFP) is a research-based
prevention program designed to reduce risk
factors for substance use and behavioral,
emotional, academic and social problems in
children 6-12 years of age. The program is part
of the Strengthening America's Families
Initiative coordinated by the Office of Juvenile
Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
