Application Process
The Welborn Baptist Foundation utilizes a two-stage application process that involves a brief statement of a proposed project or letter of interest and a formal proposal. Formal proposals are only accepted by request of the Foundation. The opportunity to submit formal proposal will only be considered after submission of a letter of interest. Unsolicited proposals are not accepted.

LETTER OF INTEREST

Organizations are invited to submit a letter of interest to determine if a project falls within our guidelines. Letters of interest should be no more than two (2) typewritten, single-spaced pages in length, on the letterhead of the organization seeking funding, and should be written using a 12-point Times New Roman font. All letters should include the name of a contact person and that person’s phone and e-mail address. Please do not include cover letters or package letters of interest in folders or other media. It is required that only one (1) copy of a letter of interest be submitted to the Foundation.

The Foundation is seeking proposals from secular nonprofit, church and faith-based organizations in the tri-state region that address areas of Foundation interest.
